Cake Decoration Kit

This is the Happy Kitchen Cake Decoration Kit by Kracie.

This kit is a sweet DIY kit which was very fun to do! It took around 30 minutes all up to create from opening to the taste test. Each kit contains a white container which has a mixing section, molds and a water scoop. The kit also contains a spoon for mixing, a piping bag for the icing, and various coloured packets that have all the powders in them to make the food.

The process started off by mixing the orange and yellow packets with two and one scoop of water each which made the two cakes, these were put in the microwave to cook for about 50 seconds then were removed from the trays then set aside to cool while I prepared the icing and jelly drops.

I then mixed the blue packet for the white icing which went all over both cakes as a base. The pink packet was also mixed to make the pink icing, which was then placed into the piping bag to be piped on the cake as I wish.
I then mixed the red packet which made the strawberry jelly drops, it was placed into the molds below to sit until the mixture set.

I then arranged the pink icing, strawberry drops and tiny sugary balls onto the iced cake as I saw fit and TA-DA! The cake was done!!

This was very fun and very easy to make!! I bought this kit off eBay as part of a group purchase, it can be easily found there or in a lot of Japanese grocery stores.

Thanks!

Popin' Cookin' Love

I have recently found that I have fun doing Japanese DIY candy sets. I have only done a couple so far but they are really fun to make!! The sets I have are(Do not quote the names, this is just what I call them!);
 - Donut shop
 - Cake Decoration
 - Bento Box
 - Sushi Kit
 - Cheeseburger set
 - Ice Cream set
 - Pancake set
 - Soda flavoured Nerunerunerune
 - Octopus Balls
 - Cornet set

I bought all of my sets from eBay but a lot of asian food stores sell them too!

I have tried Cheeseburger set, Sushi kit, Octopus balls and the soda Nerunerunerune and the only one I have enjoyed the taste of so far is the Nerunerunerune, all of the others aren't my favourite flavours unfortunately. There are plenty of videos on YouTube with all of these Popin Cookin DIY sets so go check them out! I will take photos of my process for the next kit I use!
